Thinking about trading in my Chevy Equinox for a more spacious ride. But I have no idea where to start. I'd love good gas mileage, a V6 (maybe), and good storage for strollers, groceries, and road trips. So which ones should I look at?
Love my Sienna. The only thing I don't like is the removal of the middle seats. I do not have V6, nor is it needed, and it's antithetical to good gas mileage. I did get leather seats and traction control--a must, IMO! :-) (I used to live on a snow mountain in NM that I almost slid off backwards on in my old car. I could churn up the mountain through almost anything with the traction control even if it took a while. Great on wet roads, too.)
I only have 2 kids right now but do a LOT of hauling of the neighbor's 2, too. I cannot conceive of having an SUV that you have to fold down the seat to get to the back row. It is ridiculously cumbersome, and if you have 2 5-point harness seats, virtually impossible.
My only regret is that I didn't get the model that seats 8 max but only 7. With laws and concerns about having kids in the front, it might make things more difficult as I haul more kids around.

We love our T.oyota S.ienna! It's comfortable, spacious, handles well on the road and I think it kind of looks sporty. I've heard great things about the H.onda O.dessy, as well.
I'm probably going to be in the minority but I love my Chrystler Town and Country. I get about 19-20 mpg city, it's huge and fits my double stroller and single stroller perfect in the back plus has room for groceries. I love how we can stow our seats so it's easier to get the twins in and out of the back, plus it creates more room for other things.
I think all of them have their advantages. I recently bought a used Honda Odyssey and love it. It was between that and a Sienna and I prefer the interior of the Odyssey (but I think the Siennas look the best on the outside). I love the storage, auto doors, and the splurge on the dvd player has been well worth it.
I have the Dodge Caravan and I love it! I looked all the mini vans out there and I just didn't want to pay the price for the Honda or Toyota when I could get the fully loaded Dodge much cheaper, plus Dodge has lifetime power train warrenty! I have three car seats in the car plus a single stroller (pretty large one) and double stroller and I can fit groceries in it too. We drove to Orlando twice in it and had plenty of room with all our stuff!

I love my Odyssey.
Never thought I'd be a minivan mom, let alone love my minivan.
