I gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy..Yikes. I was always tall and thin, and did some moderate exercise before and during pregnancy, mostly walking and elliptical. Well Im still tall but not so thin anymore.
Anyway..I am almost 5 weeks pp and have lost only 18 pounds so far, and my LO was 10 plbs at birth..ugh.Ithought I was going to lose more than that by now I have walked and did cardio but havent started any other kind of work out, since I have to wait 6 week after my c-section.
Anybody has good experince with any work out DVD?
Re: Recommend your work out DVD
The Firm has a new one out that looks really good. Only twenty minutes 3x a week. It is called Thin in 30. I haven't done this but have had success with The Firm.
I personally love the videos Supreme 90 Day. It is very much like P90x but not as long. You get 11 DVDs for $20. Sold at Target (not online though) and on HSN.
Good luck!
It's not a DVD but I got really good results from these:

especially the 'Bootcamp for Tummies' which was much needed after two babies...!
Do you need weight for 30 day shred?
THIS!!!
I'm a Walk Away the Pounds fanantic!! I have the dvd with the variations of the 3 mile and 5 mile walks. If you really move and keep up with music it is awesome. At 14 weeks I workout 5 days a week since the Dr. advice that I chill on the high impact training.
For a "body pump" type workout, I love Jari Love's DVD. They are challenging but keep you HR going as you don't rest between sets.
I feel you--I gained more than I cared to with DD1 and only lost 12 pounds when she was born! And I was not one of those moms who lost weight by BFing.
My favorite cardio/interval/toning is Turbo Jam (avail at BeachBody.com, or on Amazon). Love the instructor, and it is super fun and effective.
After I had DD1, I also bought the 30 minute express workout from Physique57.com. Love it love it love it. It is cardio barre, so kind of a ballet/pilates/cardio fusion, and it never gets easy or boring. And it's quick, so you can squeeze it in during baby's nap time.
I actually still do both of these with modifications during this pregnancy.
