My DH is having his reenlistment ceremony at our home this week. Im assuming it will be quick and just planned on apps and champagne/beer for afterwards. Despite being a Marine Wife for 8 years I have never hosted a formal event like this. Do you think this is appropriate or any other suggestions.

Re: Reenlistment Ceremony
The only re-enlistment ceremonies I have ever seen were mass ceremonies. I've never heard of one person having one, much less it being formal. My H has re-enlisted twice. One was a mass re-enlisted over seas. The other, he signed the papers, said the oath and went work.
I guess if you are doing this at your house, I wouldn't do much fancy. It will seriously take less than 2 minutes. Have some drinks and apps set out.

4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!
My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!
