Smocked dresses

Hi everyone!  Where is the best place to buy cute smocked dresses?  TIA!!!

The Dillard's at Perimeter carries Strasburg Children, and of course there's the Strasburg store at Phipps.

Gretchen's at Howell Mill (in the shopping center behind the OK Cafe) has a good selection of smocked dresses.  So does Cutie Pies in Dunwoody (shopping center with The Fresh Market on Mount Vernon).  They both go up to size 12.

It depends on what size you're looking for -- more places carry smocked dresses in the 0-24 month sizes than carry dresses for older girls.  Macy's has a pretty good selection of Feltman Brothers dresses, and The Chandlery in downtown Roswell does too, but those are mostly infant sizes.  New Baby Products on Cheshire Bridge has some Feltman dresses as well as Sarah Louise.

If you couldn't tell, I have a very sick addiction to smocking.  ;-)

I always buy mine at consignment sales.  They always look BRAND new because most of them are only worn once or twice.  There are a few coming up in the next few months if it's not something you have to have right now.

I usually buy mine at consignment stores as well unless I'm looking for something in particular, then I hit eBay.  Sweet Repeats, Rhubarb & Custard, and Cotton Candy Kids are where I've had the best luck.

Oak Grove Consignment always has lots!!!  There is also a FB page that is called "Smocked Steal of the Day"....since I only have boys I have NO idea about this page, like if it has good deals or not, but all my friends with girls recently "liked" it on FB.

One of my friends just started a business where they sale them on facebook (they also do some of the craft shows).  If you search on facebook its called charmed life kids.  You just make them your friend and they will post sales.  You can also just e-mail them through facebook and they have pics of fun stuff.

Also, try out smockadot kids on facebook.  Seriously cute stuff and really good prices.  They only sell stuff Mon-Thurs nights and it takes 2-4 weeks to get it, but they don't charge extra shipping.  I probably buy something once a week - it's very addictive!  Also, I don't know if you are near a limetree, but they also sell smocked clothes.  And there is a great consignment sale called The Divine Children's Show.  It's actually going to be in Marietta next weekend.  Tons of BRAND NEW smocked stuff at pretty good prices.

Ditto all the FB pages, they are generally much better priced than the boutique stores.  Also watch Zulily, sometimes they have a great smocked company featured (a few weeks ago it was Claire and Charlie I think, I bought L several things for next summer for a good price).  I also buy consignment, I use My Little Lollipop on FB for that as well.

I love Smockadot kids and Lolly Wolly Doodle! They have tons of cute stuff! The clothes are so addicting especially if you have two kids and love to match them.
