What did Mattie have for food?  I still haven't ventured into that world yet - I'm holding out until the high chair comes which should be any day now. 

What pumpkin patch did you go to?  Your pics are soooooooooooooo cute.

Hey Christa,

I saw your post.  We have done oatmeal cereal about 3 times or so now. Most of it seems to go on Robbie's face or his bib or hands.

doing good.  DH is abandoning us this weekend so that sucks. 

ALSO - have you guys had this happen...  Lennon wakes up crying - well not wakes up - he makes a pouty face while sleeping and then just starts wailing and he won't wake up and he won't stop - and when he does finally wake up he just will not calm down for a long time.  He mostly does it at nap times but did it this morning too.  UGH!

He seems to be teething too because he is biting on everything he can get his hands on and sometimes that is my finger...OUCH.

Hey Christa!  Haven't seen you around here lately!  How are you? 

Since Mattie's formula already has rice starch in it (Enfamil AR) and it tends to constipate him, the pedi wanted us to start with a P food.  Apparently P foods (peas, pears, peaches, prunes, etc) help get things moving (if you know what I mean!)  So we started with peas.  As you can see, it didn't go over so big.  I thought it'd be great because I LOVE peas,  As soon as I opened that jar (I know - bad mommy using pre-made jarred baby food) and took a whiff of the nasty baby peas, I knew it wouldn't go well!  haha.  I think I'll try prunes next.  He gets prune juice in a couple of his bottles now (to help with the constipation issues caused by the rice cereal - its a vicious circle!) and he loves it.   

Mattie will wake himself up sometimes screaming.  Its weird.  Sometimes he'll let out a few yells but not wake up.  I wonder if he's having little baby nightmares or something!  I hope Lennon isn't having bad dreams!  It could be the teething.  Mattie has been acting like he's teething for awhile now, but I can't feel anything so it may be a ways off.  Can you believe we are already talking about teeth?!  Crazy how time flies!

I think Annette and I are going to try to meet up on Sunday.  You and L should come!  I miss seeing you guys every week at class!

Oh and we went to the South 47 Farm for the pumpkin patch.  Its super close to you - just on 124th between Redmond and Woodinville.  We go there every year for our pumpkins and then in December, we go right next door for our Christmas tree.  Its pretty fun!

UGH I wrote a reply and then it disappeared.

I sure hope it's not bad dreams that he is having.  I wish I know though.

We don't have anything settled on when or where yet just Sunday.

I hope Lennon is not having bad dreams. Robbie does something similar. When I go in I notice that he is rolled over on his side so I think he is rolling and waking himself up.

Did you get a video moniter?

I love my video monitor because I can see if he's still asleep or not!  It saves me from jumping out of bed all the time.

Ok I seriously debated the video monitor for 4 months - up until then he was never alone when sleeping I would sit and watch him.  BUT after reading that others can possibly see him - well that weirded me out so I just have a reg monitor which MIL uses during the day - when I'm there it's never on because he still sleeps in the pnp right beside me and if he goes to bed I go to bed too.  (I think DH isn't a fan twice this weekend he asked me to watch a movie with him when Lennon went to sleep and I turned him down both times - aren't I mean?)

Oh when he moves into his room I think I'll probably sleep on the floor in there.  I bet it's going to be a harder adjustment for me than it will be for him.

Yeah...I know its kinda weird that someone else could see the baby, but it's been such a great "tool" that I'm cool with it.  Plus, how boring is it for someone to watch a baby they don't know sleep?  haha.  Now, if I was getting in front of the camera and doing some naked dancing, I could see how it might be amusing.  Haha.  KIDDING.  Mattie goes to bed around 7-ish so I definitely don't go down at the same time as him, though I probably should!  I'd get soooo much more sleep!

Lennon goes to bed sometime between 8 and 10 - so typically around 9.  thing is I'm ready the Twilight books so I wouldn't mind if he went to bed at 7pm because I'd get more reading in!

The books are soooooooooooooooooooooooo good.  I  can't put them down - seriously.  My sister is hooked too and has been getting no sleep because she stays up too late reading.
