The directions on BumGenius website for washing diapers say to...
Once per month, use up to 1/4 cup bleach in the hot wash cycle (step 3) to sanitize diapers and fight odors.
What type of bleach do you use? TIA!

So it didn't bleach the PULs white? I'm a bit nervous about bleach and the colors...

I have two bleach marks on my black wetbag, but that was because I was stupid and just dumped it into the half full washer. We fill the washer with soap, water, and pour in the bleach. Then, we let it agitate for a few seconds to mix it up and then add the diapers. We have not ruined any diapers this way

Nope, they actually came out brighter as did the insides and inserts.
We have done bleach but I pull out the wetbags and pail liner. I also *try* to pull out any of my fitteds and AI2s-anything that uses cotton fabrics but one time we forgot and bleached an AI2 cover. It was a halfsies one and only the one type of fabric turned from bright blue to turquoise. I was very sad though. All my PUL has been fine.
I called customer service and was told chlorinated bleach.

color safe bleach does not have chlorine which is what kills the stinks and helps with build up. you need clorox or something else with chlorine.
