I have my NT Scan today, I did my blood work a couple weeks ago and my Dr. said it's always wonky with twins. If you had the NT scan and blood work did you find this to be the case? Also, how long did you NT scan take?

We didn't have any issues w/our b/w. Our NT scan was super fast, which I think is unusual. Maybe 15 mins. total for them to take all the measurements on both babies. Then we met w/the genetic counselor for the composite results of our scan and b/w which we had done 2 wks earlier.

I did not have blood work with my NT scan. The NT scan took about an hour because the twins were not cooperating, they couldnt even make out which was twin A or twin B.
Thank you. Here's hoping mine is quick also. Baby A never stops moving so I hope she cooperates today. I do get to do something really fun today and visit my RE's office. I'm taking all my left over Gonal F and donating it to a couple in need. I am so happy I had left over and am able to do this.

I did the scan and the blood work and my results were normal (even better) than any singleton I've heard in a long time. The scan was very normal and I think my DS odds were like 1/7000 and Spinal issues was like 1/1000. So in my case everyone was great and I'm glad I did both blood work and scan!

We had the scan, but they opted to skip on the bloodwork as they said it is not accurate with multiples.
ETA... It took about an hour total for the US
Let me clear this up as well. Ours took an hour... but that was also the ultrasound that we discovered we were HAVING twins so It probably took longer for that as well because he had to check everything out and deal with my stunned blabbering. LOL

This was when we found out we were having twins so it might have taken longer then normal because of that? but we were there like 2.5 hrs.
My scan and bloodwork came back completely normal
