Recommend your favorite pads to me

So I've never used pads in my entire life. I have always used tampons. Yesterday I was in Target with my DH and was going to pick out some pads for when we get home. I realized I know nothing about pads. Being the sweet man he is, he said just wait and see what they use at the hospital and I'll come back here and get you what you need. Well problem is, he knows nothing about pads either ;-).

So, what is a good brand to use for bleeding after I give birth? What's your favorite? Recommendations please... so my dear sweet husband can go buy me good pads after I give birth.

Always Nighttime Long worked for me and didn't bunch up as much as the thicker pads.

I prefer Stayfree over nights. For me Always pads used to chaff and rub my thighs raw from the plastic covering. I haven't used Always pads since I was a newly teenager so I don't know if they have changed or not.

I stared blankly at a wall of pads just last week. I still don't know what I'm looking at!

Last time, I used Always with wings, extra long overnights. Lots of women rave about the Always Infinity, but I, personally, didn't like them. They were too thin and just felt weird to me. I trust the bulky pads.

Always Ultra Thin with Wings. I'm not sure how something so thin can be so absorbent but it is.
