How often is your house deep cleaned?

Whether you do it, or you have hired help. I'm talking washing floors, windows, dusting...getting rid of the dirt!

My house right now is a DISASTER...it's gonna take me about 2 hours to clean it, with my little helper   I try to do a deep clean every week or so.  Sometimes it end up being 1.5-2 weeks.

Uh... wow. I only have one right now and I deep clean maybe once every month if I'm lucky. DH vacuums every other week but we're just both so exhausted and don't have time!

Well, how deep are we talking? I try to do the major stuff (vacuum, bathrooms, kitchen) like once every week or 2. I would love to have a set schedule, but it's just never really happened, I'm pretty scatterbrained with my cleaning, unfortunately. And I'll admit I can't remember the last time I did the kitchen floor, it's linoleum and really requires scrubbing on hands and knees to get those stupid divits cleaned out.

We have a cleaning service once a month that I will soon be stopping for the fall and holiday season. Next January Ill start again. They do the floors and vaccuum, dust everything including the blinds,  wash counters etc, dust the fans, and clean the bathrooms. Mainly I like them to come for my bathrooms, I hate doing them. In between the monthly service, I do the toilet once a week, vaccum my hardwoods with the sweeper vac every morning (we have 2 cats) and vaccum the carpets once a week. I mop once a week too.  I wipe the counters down every morning and night bc of the cats again, and I only do the bathrooms as needed besides the toilets. They stay  pretty clean. I dust once btwn monthly cleanings. 

When I stop the service, I will try to keep on a schedule like they did. Maybe try and dust and vacuum and floors one day, then do the bathrooms the next etc. Try to get it done in 2 days and then do up keep like I normally do. I have a 1300 sq ft house, so Its pretty easy to clean.

This. I do the basics (vacuum, sweep, dust) a few times a week. Anything more than that is when I find time.

This exactly! And it takes me way more than 2 hours to fully deep clean it.

Well...... floors (sweeping/vacuuming) is done daily.   I wash them every other day, as well.   I have a nifty little microfiber mop that does the trick for a quick wash.   I hand scrub the floors once every week or so.      Bathroom gets a scrub every week or so.

As for washing walls/windows.......every once in a while.....Windows more often than walls, though.     I try to stay up on cleaning out the fridge/cupboards/closest, but that's probably realistically every few months.

If I don't stay on top of it, our house quickly becomes an utter disaster with this three kids!     It's way easier to keep clean when we're not home.......

I vacuum once, sometimes twice a day. Clean the kitchen & pick up everyday.

Thursday is usually my day to clean the bathrooms, dust, clean rooms up.

But real deep cleaning? Yeah...

Once a month.  I do everything as needed but as far as deep-cleaning and having everything all clean at once - once a month.  Other than a quick scrub of the toilet, the bathrooms only get cleaned once a month, too....

It's definitely below what I consider to be an acceptable frequency but there's just no time right now.
