Westchester Hosptials/OB Rec'dation

Hi there - I originally posted on Hudson Valley board, but in case there are some Westchester moms on the NYC board, will repost here.  DH and I will be moving from NYC to White Plains in mid-September, 4 weeks before my due date.  I had been planning on keeping my NYC OB and deliver at NYU, but am now thinking that it might be better to switch to one in Westchester - if I can find one that will take me.  What are the best hospitals for having a baby in Westchester and any recommendations on an OB?  Would also welcome opinions on whether going into the city to deliver from Westchester is a big deal.  Thanks!

    Hi! THis is my first time on this board and I live in WP!

    I delivered at White Plains Hospital and it was really such a nice hospital with really great nurses. My boys were in the NICU and they were just amazing!

    My OB is a sweetheart too...Dr. Bavarro and she's located at 15 North Broadway...there is also a pediactrics office accross the hall you can look into as well.
