is anyone else's little one kicking the crap out of them from the inside out?  This is my first child, but I hear that eventually, the kicks can actually wake you up from a dead sleep and I really don't doubt it! happy 22 weeks everyone.

oooo yea this is my second child and he has a tendency to stay low my first one was all over the place lol congrats do you know what your having????

Hardly any kicks during the day but at night oh my. Needless to say naps are back.

Hey all of you 22 weekers! I have a question. This is my first child so there are things that I am just clueless about when it comes to pregnancy. I am 22 weeks and my belly isn't big at all!! I have one but not like I was expecting to have by now! lol Should I be concerned? I have already been told that my baby girl is on the smaller side of average so maybe that is part of it as well. Any feed back would be appreciated!

Everyone is a different size throughout their pregnancy and its hard not to compare yourself. I know women that didn't even show until almost 7 months and other women who look 6 months along at the end of the 1st trimester!

If your doctor isn't concerned then you shouldnt be! Its probably a little frustrating because part of the joys of pregnancy (for me so far anyway) is showing off your bump with pride, but don't worry, the 3rd trimester is when your baby starts to really pack on the pounds and so will you so Im sure your bump will be growing bigger and bigger before you know it! Congrats!!

this is my 6th baby my youngest is 13 and i am so excited we all are i have all girls and this one is a boy... : )    and my baby also has the tendency to stay low! i thought it was a bad thing at first but its not! my other babys were all over the map in my tummy! congrats on your lil bundle as well!

dont worry aout it as long as your ultrasounds are fine and your lil ones heart beat is strong there is nothing to worry about i was pregnant with twins i started showing until i was 6 months pregnant and they were also on the lil side so no worries .. enjoy your pregnancy and congratulations! on your lil bundle of joy!

My baby girl is most active at night,and lately i feel like she is jumping on my bladder:) I'm not quite sure its even her doing it. Anyone have any idea what im talking about??

YAY! I hit 22 weeks ha I am loving this experience! We are having a boy and he is our first! I am an air force wife stationed in Utah. I would love to hear opinions on drugs for birth... I refuse to have an epidural and Im wondering what other options are moms to be choosing?

The refusal is because I am terrified of needles and I dont want to be paralyzed the whole thing just freaks me out! I also have a heart and lung conditions and I would hate for something to happen and they cant give me other drugs to slow my heart rate if I have the Epidural. lol

Any thoughts?

Oh my does my little one kick. It is definately much stronger now. He is really active in te morning and late afternoon. I can't wait for my husband to be able to feel him kick. We try every now and then, but no luck so far. I definately feel more short of breath now and get a little dizzy from it. any suggestions to help counter this feeling?

Woohoo for being 22wks everyone! I also have the same problem with the shortness of breath. It's almost like my heart will drop out of my chest sometimes. It doesn't always change my breathing pattern but it feels really awkward. I'm with you Suz4592, anyone have any suggestions??

 I do love feeling my little guy kick but sometimes it feels like he's using me as a trampoline.

With my first I didn't even gain weight or begin to show until I hit 5 months.. Every pregnancy is diff but the weight sure did catch up after that lol. My daughter weighed 6lbs 7 oz ... I wouldn't worry !! Congrats!!

Countdown begin Im 22 weeks also n my lil baby boy loves my bladder n csection scar. He doesnt move that much in the day time but let me go to sleep he's like party time lol. Congrats to all of u 18 more weeks to go.

Wow! My little one I say is going to be the next "Bruce Lee" the kicks are awesome but some are very uncomfy. I can even see my stomach jumping where baby kicks!! I'm definetly more out of breath now, but is anyone else having hot flashes?

YAY for being 22 weeks PREGGERS! My little princess is a very active baby. I am guessing a soccer player like her dad! She will punch and kick like crazy around 6 am and will go all during the day. The good thing is she sleeps at night while I sleep. Thank you Jesus since I wake up enough going to the RR and turning from side to side because my hips fall asleep. I am getting places in my tummy that are numb which I hear is normal but the feel so odd.

Melissa here, we are Navy and presently in China Lake, CA.

With my first I did it natural.  The only drugs I had is when a nurse gave me a shot of morphine w/out permission.  In case your wondering I was on my side and she just walked up and stuck me.  Nuts.  

My reasons for doing it natural were like you I don't dig the idea of a needle in my spine.  I'm good w/ other shots but that one back off.  Two is I have a high tolerance for pain meds.  A lot of them just don't work for me.

This is all going to be about what is comfortable for you and your pain tolerance level.  For me the worst part wasn't the labor, it was the last few minutes while pushing.  That part hurt like hell, but the good part was that it was over very quickly so all in all not bad.

Hello everyone! Me and my sweetie are expecting our first bundle of joy in June! We are beyond excited! I'm in my 22nd week and can't believe how fast time is flying. I have been blessed with an amazing pregnancy (I've never once had morning sickness) thank goodness! The only thing is I pee like crazy..I feel like my baby is constantly kicking my bladder lol...are all you other mommies in the restroom 24/7?

I am just starting to show myself.  I understand how it feels to not have a big belly at all.  People at my job are just finding out and are saying that I don't look five months pregnant.  My doctor said that it is my first and that it isn't unusual to not show as much.  Don't worry

Yeah no worries about having a smaller bump...people are still coming up and saying "YOU'RE pregnant??" and I kind of want some sympathy now from strangers..LOL  I have started gaining a few pounds and feeling a little short of breath when I go running and climb flights of stairs.   I don't know if I'm feeling kicking but I can feel him move around sometimes (like little stomach cramps). My boyfriend keeps feeling my stomach at all times of the day so I'm hoping he'll feel his son kick him soon (sick of being felt up! LOL)..  I had to take out my naval piercing yesterday..it was getting stretched. Now it looks all naked... I was freaked out too by how hard and taut the belly bump is. Hard like a drum. (this is my first).  Hey one huge benefit of a small bump is the postponing of buying maternity wear. I am still getting by with all my normal size 8's...just changing the belt  settings.. Well enjoy this time...the 3rd trimester is going to be a lot tougher I imagine...

YES! I feel like im in a sauna most at least twice a day. It is also amazing how much I feel her moving around now. Sometimes its just little jabs, but sometimes i can feel full on punches and kicks! Thats also why im eating so much now! Shes just burning off all her calories I keep trying to give her

Awwww. This is my first also. I couldn't wait to feel the kicks and other movements but sometimes .... smh. i absolutely love the feeling though. It makes me smile everytime.

This is my second pregnancy and I can feel her kicking really low. I was scared at first because it took awhile before I felt her first kicks, while my son was almost immediately after I found out I pregnant. So although her kicks are subtle I welcome them and I think it says a lot about her personality.

i get the hot flashes all the time, i go to take off my hoody and my boyfriend will tell me, we can just turn on the air, i always tell him na, cuz in the next ten minutes i want my hoody again.

lol your so lucky i went up six pant sizes, i went from being able to wear kids jeans into a size five, and they are now tight on me. i had to go buy that belly band thing. lol

I'm 22 weeks and expecting my first baby - a boy...

I felt my baby moving for the first time on Mother's Day!  It was 6:30 a.m. and I was feeling all this movement in my belly.  I didn't think too much of it because he usually moves alot, but I just hadn't :"felt" it yet when I touched.  But all the "thumping" caught my attention and when I touched my belly I felt it!  I was so happy I woke up his daddy and he felt it too.  Aw it was so awesome.  I felt that my baby was giving me an early Mother's Day gift.  Best day ever!

YES!!! It is happening RIGHT THIS SECOND. I don't like it. it kind of hurts and makes me feel like I have to pee. again. for the 40th time this morning.

THis is our sixth as well...and our first boy:)  Found out late in the game and am worried about the health due to my age and all (43) but so excited:)  Congrats to you on your boy.  We have a 15, 13, 11, 3,  and about to be 2 year old:))

My husband can feel him kick every night now!  When I first lie down I lie on my back and he moves a lot.  Also, my last 2 nights of sleep have been WAY better thanks to the boppy maternity body pillow my friends got me for my birthday!!!

hey i would like to reply to this message. and yea my little one kicks my ribs and my back it hurts for a minute and when the baby kicks it feels like a little flutter kinda like butterflies and my heart races often

My little girl is exactly the same. Sleep is little and loo breaks regular. Divine to know she's busy moving about tho, so all worth it. Such a special time:)
