    Hey Mommies to be,

This is my very first pregnancy and I am so anxious about feeling the baby move now that we are at 19 weeks.  Is there anything I can do to make my little love bug move or am I just being impatient?

lay down on your back and get very still. breath normally and don't talk.  your baby is getting rocked to sleep when you walk and when you stop, sometimes they'll wake up and get very active.  and don't worry! some moms don't feel their baby move around until 22 weeks.

I am in my 19th Week. We first found out our baby was a boy at week 16... two weeks later we went for our mid pregnancy sono where they measured everything and found out it was a GIRL. I am excited either way. Boy or Girl I just want a healthy baby!! Pregnancy has been going GREAT so far. I never got sick in the beginning. The only things that go on now are migraines, leg cramps, and my hips KILL at night. This past week I could really feel the stretching in my stomach. I am only 5 feet tall and my husband is a little over 6'1. They told me she has a pretty good sized head and at week 18 she was already 9 ounces! I have a feeling she won't be small like me.

I am so excited to get started with planning the nursery... I can't wait! Hopefully soon we will get to register for miss Brynlee Jo (yay she has a name) I wish all the other moms the best of luck and may God bless your growing family

Hi Mommies!  This is my first and I finally felt the baby move a couple of nights ago.  We have our next U/S on Monday and I'm so excited to find out baby's gender.  I'm happy either way.  We are only having one because of our ages so I couldn't possibly decide if it was even a choice.  I just want to know so I can start planning the nursery.  And of course the grandparents are dying to know. Complaint wise, my hips hurt at night and my stomach hurts now and then but these are all small potatoes in my book.  Although I'd love a good nights sleep!  Congrats to you all!

I am 19 weeks today and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I have not felt baby move yet and with my other 2 pregnancies I felt right around 16-17 weeks. Should I be concerned? I get my U/S next Thursday to find out what I'm having and we are excited, I am a little more over weight with this one than I was with the other 2 could that be the reason also?  Has anyone else felt 3rd baby move later than the previous 2?

I am in my 19th week also. We too foundout at 17 week multiple marker screening that we were having a boy but the tchnician said we should wait to confirm the gender until our 20 week anatomy scan... I was skeptical but after reading your post, perhaps I shouldn't be so skeptical. Funny, I would have bet my life that we were having a girl when the tech told us it was boy... guess I'll find out on thursday... =0)

I am still throwing up on occassion, headaches once in a while, swelling out the wazzoo, stomach pains and my hips and lower back KILL at night making it hard to stay asleep causing extra exhaustion...

This is my first and we tried for over 8 years to get pregnant with fertility treatments until our last miscarriage at 9 weeks in October 2011. We then agreed that it was too mentally straining and decided that this was something we weren't meant to have and moved on... Then this past April, I got pregnant on my own with out trying. I'm 39 years old and having my first baby after multiple losses... I'm a mess most days worrying but I'm slowly learning to relax and enjoy my pregnancy.

If he is, in fact, a boy his name will be Ryan Matthew. If he turns out to actually be a girl, her name will be Emily Grace... either way, I can't wait to meet this little one!

Good luck and God bless =0)

Just had an ultra sound last week and we didn't want to know the sex of the baby.  This is my second and the surprise of the gender is the most amazing feeling.  The ultra sound showed the placenta being in the front which is why I'm not feeling any kicks yet and may not for quite a few more weeks.  Feeling good but my heart races all the time, especially if I don't drink enough water.  We just started working on the nursery!

I think it is when baby kicks hard in the crotch area and it almost feels like a shock.

Wow this is your 5th baby.  Good for you.  I am having my 3rd baby and with my circle of friends they think I am crazy because I already have 2 boys and I am over 40 but I am in good health so I am looking forward to this baby coming.   I do not want to know what I am having just want to be surprise.   As far as aches and pains its just like before little ache here and there my back of course hurts the most and getting used to the stomach again for the growth of the baby is seems to be a little more harder than before.   I am happy and so is my family and that is all that counts.   Happy in my 19th week.   Waiting for April 29 to come as this was my great grandmother's birthday and she would of been 100 years old in 2013.

Happy so far and very busy with the holidays coming.  I am having #3 and starting to think will everything be ok.  I have 2 boys and they are wonderful but now I am thinking will I have enough time and energy for this 3rd one now that I am over 40.  I do keep up with the 2 but now I will have 3.   I see families with more than 3 and wonder how they do it?  My boys keep me quite busy with school and after school events and I do work full time so my evenings are quite short.  They are good knowing that their bed time is by 8:30 pm. So I do have my nights free to keep up with the laundry and spend time with my husband.  I usually peter out by 10 pm. so I am up by 6:30 am. to get ready with work.  I am just venting out my worry of 3 I know some of you are saying why am I thinking of this now I should have thought of this before I got pregnant but to be truthful this was a surprise and I am welcoming this new surprise.  Thanks for listening to me.

Try drinking some orange juice and then lying down. The boost in blood sugar will get the baby moving around and lying down will make it easier to feel.

    Hello Everyone!

I'm 19 weeks and I'm felling abdominal, hip and tail bone pain. Very great for not having to deal with leg cramps. I have to try the heating pad method. My boppy is a lifesaver. My love cut it open and put more cushion in there for me this morning. I still exercise but its very minimal. I walk and run a little bit. I do prenatal yoga. Tank goodness for that. @Spidette, hopefully my heartburn is gone for the moment so I can try that method as well. I feel her move every once in awhile. But I know the she won't move all the time. I'm very excited for all of you and your beautiful little crumbsnatchers coming on the earth! I'm having a girl but I will make sure in couple of weeks. I have name her Nailah Simone. Continue to have a great pregnacy. Peace and Blessing onto You and Your Family!

This will be my 3rd I'm giving birth to and I have a step daughter as well =) One of our daughters will turn 14 in March and our son and other daughter turn 12 this year. So I totally feel you on being anxious and second guessing things (to a point lol) This little one was planned and my husband's and I first child together! We are so excited and very nervous too. Its been over a decade since we had a little one in the house. We are used to teenage issues like boys, curfews, and periods not bottles, midnight feedings, and babysitters LOL But like you said the Lord blessed us with this little one and we can't wait to welcome him or her into our family. I graduate from nursing school in May and my husband is in the military and will retire in 4 years so what better time to have a baby we figured! Good luck and God Bless!!

Greetings All, I am 19 weeks with my first baby. We are to have our A/S on Thursday (2/28). I am not to know the gender of my baby until the shower. My family thought that would be a cute spin for the shower. My husband will know the gender, we will see how long that secret is kept.

I am feel light kicks especially when I need to eat. I am excited to be able to see the baby at my A/S appt in a couple of days. Each chance I get to see him/her I am so thankful and grateful. Can't wait to hold my little one and kiss those beautiful cheeks!!

    Hi Preggos,

I am 19 weeks today.  I have been feeling the fluttering and butterflies for the last 3 weeks.  I have these awful leg cramps and have gained over 20lbs.  Considering that I was small before pre-pregnancy my doctor says it is not bad.  However, he says that I he wants me to max out at 25 no more than 30.  I have taken synthroid because of my thyroids so this may have been the cause of the weight gain.  I am exercising and eating better so hopefully this will eliminate the additional weight gain.  I have been blessed to not have swelling in the hands and feet, so all my rings and shoes fit nicely.  However, my pants are another subject.  I bought my first set of maternity pants last week because the bump is growing.  I knew we were having a boy for the last 2 weeks because of the testing.  Its a high risk pregnancy.

Had to comment this is my 5th baby n I also have 2 girls 2 boys n having my sex scan next Thursday can't wait! Not feeling much movement but I'm sure I will soon! People keep telling me I'm mad do u get the same?

First, don't panic. Every pregnancy is different. If you do feel concerned, see if your OB will see you and run a doppler over your belly. That'll listen for the heartbeat and will put your mind at ease. If you have a doppler and can hear the heartbeat, then I would rest easy. Lots of reasons you may not be able to feel it moving, and most are not bad!! Good luck!!! and congratulations!

So happy to see another couple not finding out the sex as we are the same! :0 We didn't with our first and aren't with this pregnancy either! It is so exciting on delivery day! We don't tell our family the names we select either, do you? People look at us so funny, saying "oh, I'd have to know, so I can plan." I am a planner myself, but tell people, " you can't put it back and change it and you change outfits half a dozen times a day anyways so why does it matter?!? As long as its healthy!" Love to see people react to that! Good luck!

    Hello Mommys To Be!

This is my first pregnancy, my life has changed a lot and this was unexpected but I thank creator for this blessing either way. Me and my boyfriend are very excited we even bought a new car to adjust for this life changing experience. Very awesome to watch the baby grow, this past Wednesday I went to my 2nd ultrasound with my man and he was so stunned. My baby is very active, I'm keepin up with the baby's growth with all the blogs and posts. I'm very active, I'm a workaholic too, if it's not going to the university it's working. I'm now working 2 jobs and I'm on my feet all day. I was very fortunate I was a strong stomach and don't throw up often but I do feel lots of subtle movement in my uterus. Hang in there first to be moms! It's a new brand experience, I never expected this baby in years to come but here I am with this little spirit growing inside of me.
