I'm feeling wonderful at this point my morning sickness is gone away and i have my energy back, just anxious now to know what the sex is but i wont know til Dec,18th.
I feel great so far. I actually never really had sickness just sleepy. Next week I'm going to the local community college sonography department so the students can practice ultrasound-ing my tummy. Maybe they will see the gender early!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
i felt so good threw the hole thing no one knew i was prego and i didnt but i miss a period so we had to pregnacy test it took 4 fot me to beleave it and then i went to the docs and ever apointment they have done ultra sounds i have one on dec 8 and they said ight might find out the sex i had one at 11 weeks they said i might befarther then what they expected but it must have short legs find out for sure on the 8 and i havnt gotten sick or anything its nice to be asked what u did to keep the ms away i said nothing its just didffrent peoples body not evey one gets sick or tired
I feel much better now that my 24 hour sickness is gone. However, I am experiencing the pains of my ligaments stretching. Also although the baby is so small, I am wanting to stick out my stomach, which is not all baby but instead fat. Is anyone else feeling the need to just let their gut hang out? This idea is extremely uncomfortable for me at this stage. Once the belly is baby, then I will be more than happy to expose my belly.
I have the same a belly that wasn't baby and i totally wanted to let it stick out to look pregnant instead of just fat, but now that the baby is growing i am starting to see a baby belly, i too want it to grow more so i can be more comfortable.
I was blessed to not get m/s during the first trimester but I was VERY tired. I was so used to exercising at least three times a week before I got preggers. The past few months I have only exercised a handful of times and mainly walked outside. I am hoping to jump into more yoga and walking more! Our next appointment is January 3rd where they are hoping to see the sex of the baby.. of course if the baby is cooperating lol.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy New year and a fabulous 2nd trimester!
God Bless

I am in the same boat. I was working out 5 times a week before I got pregnant and now I'm like, "eh". I know that's not right, but I can't help it!
I am right there with you chiggins11!! My whole abdominal area has been having mini cramps all over the place. Sometimes really low, sometimes high and off to the side. It's crazy! And yes, I've been dying to just let my gut hang out. All this week I've just been dying to wear pregnancy jeans or something loose and elastic. Wearing my normal jeans, which still fit, is just uncomfortable. I even unbutton and unzip them when I sit down! I took pictures today since I just hit 14 weeks and as I looked at them I actually looked "pregnant." It's so odd, the weight I've been gaining ISN'T the baby, but my belly is growing round and out rather than just getting flabby (although my love handles are back with a vengeance!). It's so amazing just how pregnancy changes you!
I am still exercising 7 days a week ...definitely helps with energy levels and mood. Am lucky to live within walking distance of my gym...am wondering if I should still do half marathon I signed up for 1/29..may have to just run/walk it.
hello all, im 14 weeks preg and feeling better - had mild msickness...now im just debating the amnio and worrying incessantly about my diet and the baby.....im trying to hide the belly for a few more weeks..
I was relieved not to have been as sick with this one as I was with my boys, but I am glad that the little sickness I had is subsiding. I have gone two whole days not without getting sick and I am so darn Thankful! On top of that it snowed for the first time yesterday and I have felt soo energized . I have my first appointment with a midwife on Monday and am excited. This may be our last one so I am determined to find a doctor that I enjoy to go through this process with and the midwife experience sounds great. So excited to be into the second trimester. Anyone else using a midwife?
I haven't had the amnio with any of my babies. The risks terrify me and hubby and I figured if there is a situation to deal with we will deal with it when the baby comes. I know myself well enough to know that if I found out there was a problem I would spend the rest of my pregnancy freaking out and stressing and that is not good for the baby or me. I am sure whatever decision you make will be the best for you and your family but try not to worry about it, it only makes it seem scarier.
I am actually worried! I just went through a miscarriage last pregnancy at 6 weeks, I am actually only 13 Weeks 6 days and not at all experiencing any "growing pains" i am a little worried that the baby isn't growing like it should. My symptoms are almost gone still a little nausea and headaches and i am still very tired. I do not have another ultrasound until 16 Wks I heard the heart beat on the doppler at 12 weeks 160 bpm, just concerned worried mother!!!
So far so good!!! I am starting to get some nasty headaches which are no fun. I officially had to give up on most of my PP clothes I am okay with it tho my MIL has bought me some really cute jeans. We have decided on names and not to find out the sex until our lil bundle arrives. I cannot say our families are happy about that, oh well.
im 14 weeks and have been experiencing terrible pelvic pain i keep telling my dr. but she just says to rest it has gotten to the point where i cant even walk is anyone else feeling this?
Needless to say I am jealous of every single person who says that they have not been sick.... I guess I got it for all of us! And it has not stopped. I was hoping week 14 would be a milestone of feeling better... Still just eating Popsickles and gatorade
Same here! I used to work out a lot and now I get winded going up the stairs. Still walking about 30 mins a day (which my dog loves) but I miss my more intense workouts!
Now that the second trimester has started I'm walking as much as I can, when I feel up to it. Long walks if possible. My honey sometimes gets frustrated with me and forces me into a cab, bc I will try to walk home from long distances away. I did it when I wasn't a preg, why not now. LOL.
I do get winded from time to time, so I just take breaks. I'm having twins, so I am trying to get whatever exercise I can before I explode or just ... can't move.

You are not alone! I've been sick since about week 6 and it only got worse as time progressed. Finally by week 12 my doc had to prescribe me Zofran to help with the nausea. Even though it helps, I still get days where I don't feel good, but at least I finally stopped barfing. Now I am finding that meat of any kind repulses me. I'm waiting for it to end, but as soon as the zofran wears off I feel it coming back. My cousin said she was sick through her entire first pregnancy. Then the last 3 she had to be on zofran for 7 months. I'm hoping I won't have to go that long.
But fear not, I feel your pain! So tired of eating crackers!
i had lost 13lbs in a month... i started off at 133lbs so thats no good. i finally gained 3lbs. But my nausea has also been hell for me. zofran never worked for me. i have to take Phenagen (dont think i spelled it right) lol. but it knocks me out for like half the day....
I am feeling pregnant now. I am so happy to not have had any morning sickness, and the constant feeling of being tired is wearing off. No I just want to find out the sex of this baby!
i know how you pregnant mommies feel about being sick. When i was pregnant with my son i stayed sick until i was 5 months with him and doctors didn't give me anything for my nausea. Now i'm 14 wks. preg and feeling much better far as the nausea goes but starting off i stayed sick my whole entire 1st trimester. I'm just glad it didn't hang around until 5 mos. like it did with my son. Give it some time you should start feeling better soon, good luck!!!!!!!!!! to all of you. I give God all the praise for giving me a successful pregnancy after suffering 1 miscarrige, and 2 ectopic pregnancies.
Hi everybody and I just tured 14 weeks today and I hear my baby heart beat last week when I had my second ultrasound and it was beat good and Im glad for that because I'm 38 and pregnant but we are doing ok and Im getting an baby bump but I havent told any one at my job yet I'm trying to wait on when I now the sex of my baby and that will be the next time I go to the doctor which is in August so I'm getting very happy cause my baby is an mircale to me.
I am 14 weeks today, and feeling pretty great! I'm hanging on to wearing my last few pairs of pants that are pre-pregnancy for as long as I can; but I have a feeling it wont be long! I'm still pretty exhausted, but I've been so lucky to have not been that sick that I'm not going to complain. I can't wait for the next few months!
me too! We are doing the tinytoes imaging on the 20th. We are way anxious to know what we are having. Except for the growing bump, I don't feel pregnant at all.
I can totally relate! I keep wondering how much of that belly is baby and how much is just chub. I have had a lot of constipation though and gas so I'm sure a good portion is that too. I have been looking at my lounge pants for the ones with the least restrictive waist band. In my 14 week bump picture my belly wasn't smooth round. A little lumpy from my waist bands. This may help.
Im glad you posted about ligaments too. I have been having that too and wondered if it was normal.
You go mama! That is great that you are still getting good runs in. I was running pretty consistently before I got pregnant and have fallen off the wagon in T1 due to exhaustion.
You have inspired me again! Back to the trails tomorrow!
I feel the same way! Right now I just look pudgy but I cant wait for the real deal so I can flaunt it. Its my first pregnancy and its been so mellow that it feels unreal sometimes. Good Luck!

I'm feeling great too! I didn't get any of the first trimester sickness so I know I'm lucky there. I just felt exhausted all the time.
I'm getting nervous about shopping for bras and clothes because I can feel my jeans getting snug. I have no clue where to start with all this.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
We still haven't decided if we want to find out the sex yet.

Hi, I'm new to the site
I'm now 14 weeks pregnant and am very excited! Congrats to everyone here!
