Thankfully my nausea went away this last week! Sooooo thankful! Don't worry it should end soon! I'm just ready to feel the baby kick but I know we still have a ways to go. Its weird because I also kind of wish I was showing a little bit so i would look more pregnant but I'm sure in the next couple months I'll be wishing I wasn't so big lol!
I still have nausea and that acid taste in my mouth. Its not quite as bad so I know its easing off. For some reason its worse in the night and I wake up with the taste in my mouth. I have to eat right away or it gets worse so even if I am tired I can't lay there. Also I found I have to kinda sleep sitting up for a while. Its pretty hard but I prefer it to puking. I was doing that a min 6 times a day in the begining . Now I am once in a while and usually at night. People tell me week 16 is when it gets to be the best.
So excited to be in week 13 and heading into the second trimester. As of now I am starting to get my energy back, which hopefully I can start exercising more! We were told at our last doctors appointment that on Jan. 3 we can try and see (if baby cooperates) what sex we are going to have. I myself have no preference because I just want a HEALTHY baby and to me boy or girl would be fine! Wishing all the other moms-to-be a happy and healthy Pregnancy
God Bless

I am still tired and still having small bouts of nausea. Thank god the breast tenderness is better but it has now been replaced by really itchy breasts! But still way better than hurting breasts!
to: aprilriggi...making sure that you put lotion on your belly and breasts twice a day seems to help the itching. I've been using Burt's Bee Mama Butter. It is a little pricey, but thick enough to do the job and not too greasy.
Im glad to have made it too week 13 now only if my nausea would go away & I am still so exausted & tired. This pregnancy is different from my others I was never this tired or sick!

Well, here we are! Fingers crossed that I start feeling better soon. I feel bad when my little man asks me every morning if I "feel bad today". Its worth it in the end!
with week 13 here, like most of you I am hoping to feel some relief from all of the yucky nausea...and not sure if this will help anyone, but my doctor told me this week that as I'm entering the 2nd trimester if I'm still experiencing the nausea and acidic taste in my mouth then reflux is most likely the problem and I should try zantac or prilosec for relief...I will definitely be giving it a try if things don't ease up soon...hope this helps!

I was lucky and did not have any nausea. I have been experiencing more dry skin though so I have Aveeno oatmeal bath that I take once or twice a week, and I use Aveeno shower gel too. So far it has helped the dryness, and the itch of dry skin too. Try it out!
Week 13 and I vomitted this morning! Alright, I must say though that things are getting better. I do have a lot more energy but I have tried not to really over do it. I am back to my walking routine which makes things a little easier and helps me sleep at night because I am tired. Other than that I am looking forward to my little one growing more and more each day.
This is my first posting about my pregnancy online! Had an ultrasound yesterday at 13 weeks and found out that it's 90% chance of a boy, so soon to know! I was depressed the whole pregnancy (because of my relationship situation) and now that I know it's a boy and got to see it, I'm finally excited. Somehow I wasn't nauseous the entire first trimester, is that normal? Finally starting to show a little... I'm hoping to find support here as a single mom!
This is my first pregnancy, I'm so excited I'm really just ready to find out the gender of the baby. I'm ready to get over the nausea. Is anyone spitting constantly? please don't tell me I'm the only one that has to carry a spit cup around because of the constant spitting? Good luck to all you mother's to be.
This is my first pregnancy too...I've been having terrible sinus headaches lately ... Anyone know any good tricks ... I've been sick for awhile now & am just looking for any sort of relief
This is my first pregnancy and taking progesterone supplements earlier on, I believe, have contributed to the amount of nausea I have felt over the last couple months. Running to the bathroom on an average of ten-eleven times a day really takes a lot of energy out of a girl. So far this week it seems to be slowing down; however, now I am getting really terrible headaches and sinus pressure. I'm not sure if it is a pregnancy symptom or an actual cold that needs to be checked out. I am hoping someone may offer some sort of suggestion for relief, and Tylenol doesn't seem to touch the pain.
So I'm about 13 1/2wks today and feeling a lot better than a few weeks ago, nausea has relatively gone away, got a lot of my energy back and overall feeling good. First trimester was really rough for me, super nauseas, extremely tired, felt really uncomfortable. Now I'm enjoying my pregnancy and very excited about the future!
Interested i knowing if any of you ladies have started realy showing a baby bump yet? I'm still really not showing much, i have a pouch and it's really noticeable when I disrobe but with clothes I just look fat, not really pregnant yet. Wonder if this is common with other Mommie's-To-Be too.
I cant wait to find out the baby's gender, my husband and I are interested in knowing. We've had several ultrasounds and I'm convinced the baby is a girl!!!
Hope to meet many Mommie's-To-Be and share this wonderful journey with all of you!
omg! I've had the worst headaches I've ever had. Even got antibiotics because of all the sinus pressure. Tried migraine meds from my dr and feel some relief. So basically, even though it feels like sinus, it was a migraine. (I did IVF and was taking progesterone until week 9.)
I got chronic migraines before I was pregnant. Since I found out, I have had almost none! Until week 13 and they are unbearable! As someone who is used to awful migraines, these rank in the top 10 for pain. Hopefully this won't last or be something that lasts my whole second tri. I hope yours go away soon! Good luck! Let me know if you find something that works!
Today is my first official day at 13 weeks/2nd Trimester and it's a blessing!!! I had a miscarriage in Feb 2012 at 7wks...so this pregnancy has taken an emotional toll on me because I'm paranoid A Lot! So far so good!!! For me I'm already a big girl size 14 and already had a pouch, but I think it's grown! Ive been good and haven't gained. Now I'm just waiting to look preggers and feel my baby!! My friend is about 17 weeks and just felt her baby move for the first time so we're getting close girls! I wish everyone a happy healthy pregnancy!!
i am so ready to start feeling the baby kick! i have bump going on and everyone at work is already touching my tummy lol. the only complaint so far for me is my back has been hurting bad this week but at least my urgency to use the bathroom as decreased. i havent been sick at all, but my appetite has been in full force for weeks now. i gained 6lbs since my last appointment-that was 2 weeks ago so im sure i have increased that mark. i am anxious to find out what it is so i can start painting the nursery
I just entered my 13th week of pregnancy. The first trimester was very tough from nausea, vomiting, bloating...but now I am getting much better!
I am facing a decision of wether to do the amneosyntheses test. I am 33 years old. They say the older you get the riskier it is.
Did you do it or planning to do it?
I can't wait to find out the gender of the baby as well!
In my family we are female dominant so more likely it will be a girl!
Good luck with your pregnancy and hopefully will hear from you soon !
I am just hitting week 13 and have been taking measurements and weight every Sunday. I am a little concerned because I have not gained any weight over the first trimester, I have seen my measurements in my waist and bust increase and clothes are a bit more snug. I have had 3 ultrasounds up to now and everything has been great. I am just not sure if I should be worried about the fact that I haven't put on the typical 3-5lbs. I only work out 3 times a week which is what I did before and I eat regularly. This is my first pregnancy.
I am excited about this week!!! My energy level is back!!! Hopefully I can get back to doing yoga, and thank goodness I had no nausea or morning sickness. Let's get the 2nd trimester going....
I'm 13 ish weeks. Not bothering with the doc until the 14th of May as I didn't want to get my hopes up. But I'm still growing, still starving, etc so I'm guessing all is well! I believe I have felt flutters but not 100% sure. This will be my 4th child, 7th pregnancy if all goes well!
I cannot wait until my appt. We will do an ultrasound right away. Since I'll be at 15 weeks I can't decide if we will find out the gender or not. We did with all 3 of our sons...but I think I want to be surprised this time.
This has been easiest pregnancy EVER as far as little nausea. Thank God! With 3 boys I don't have time to be sick LOL However my sciatic has already started bothering me. Must be the bump!
Re: Welcome to Week 13!

I love yoga, that's what I also do for stress relief. Dr said I can do it the entire time if I'd like
