Houston Babies

Recommendations Needed: Pediatrician in Pearland Area

I am due in November with my first baby and I am currently looking for a pediatrician in the Pearland area.  My OB, Dr. Bobo (Women's Specialist of Houston) recommended a few doctors in the Texas Children's Pediatric Associates network and I was wonder if anyone has an experience with any of these doctors or recommendations for others in the Pearland area.

 Thanks so much!!

  • I used Dr. Jason Decker with Pearland Peadiatrics when my older daughter was first born.  Loved him and loved the practice.  But I recently moved to the TCPA in Shadow Creek Ranch to see my good friend Dr. Deborah Davis.  It is closer to home.  I've been pleased with the practice and I only have the best things to say about Dr. Davis.

  • Hi! DD sees Dr. Wilber with Texas Children's Pediatrics near 518 and CR 90, and DH and I both looooove him. He is so calm and patient. We both feel really comfortable with him, which is important. You don't want to feel rushed, or not comfortable enough to ask stupid 1st-time parent questions. :)

I use Dr. Jennifer Gray at Pearland Pediatrics, but it's on the East side, so woudl be quite a drive if you live on the west side.

  • Dr. Bobo is my doctor as well and she recommended basically just anyone associated with Texas Children's in the event something serious would arise, then your pedi would have privileges at Texas Children's and that wouldn't be an issue. Both of my kids see Dr. Garbarino, I have a 2.5 year old and a 4 month and we have been very happy with her so far. I think all the doctors in that office are pretty good.

We also see Dr Wilber and love him too! We've been seen by all the doctors in the practice at some point or another and they're all great. I highly recommend the practice!
