Working out & Short Hair

I was getting sick of not having time to do my long hair so I fixed that problem by cutting it all off. My hair is now only down to my chin in the front and then even shorter in the back. However, I didn't think my hair cut through very well since now I can't put it up while I am working out and it just gets in my face and very crazy looking. I take MMA Boxing lessons and I need to figure out a way to keep it out of my face so I can focus on my footwork and be able to watch my opponent. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Working out & Short Hair

  • Lululemon slipless headband. I love them. I wear them and then pull my hair back with an elastic and pins. It gets messy in the back as I move around (because it's too short), but it stays out of my face.

  • My hair sounds very similar to yours.  I second the headbands, you can check out Sweaty Bands too, https://www.sweatybands.com/. They do not slip from the top, but if your hair is really short in the back, sometimes the back part slips up.

I also pull up the top half in two sections (part down the middle, semi-pig tails) with normal hair bands or non-slip clips.  But if the front is too short, that may not work.

     Enjoy the new shorter hair!

My hair is longer now, but I've been using these back since my hair was chin-length.

  • Bandana or head bands usually work well for that.
