How do I get good deals on Kings Island and Museum passes? I got my Zoo pass as a birthday gift from the inlaws during the month of March so I got a great deal. Being new to the area I am trying to find the best deals so that next year when Ms. C is 2 and Mr. C is 1 we have more stuff to do than just the zoo.
Thanks!
Re: So- things to do and costs... KI, Zoo, etc.
*We* bought our KI gold pass in October last year. (it was a Christmas gift from the ILs). This is when they always buy them, and we take the 1 admission for this year with it. That said, we didn't buy it until this year when DS would be 3. He's really tentative to try new things, so we thought KI might be a bit much before this year.
I'd definitely get a museum pass. B LOVES that place! We have gotten more than our money's worth out of it; we bought the family pass for $130. Because I'm a teacher, they gave me $20 off when I showed my ID card. If you do decide to join, take your DH with you the first time... park in the temp spots (free) and then have one of you move the car since parking is paid for with membership. It is also reciprocal with several other museums across the US.
The aquarium membership is cheap in relation to the ticket price. With your 2 so close in age and really young, I think you'd probably get your money's worth out of it too.
