RE visit with donor

We had our initial consul with the RE with my donor.  He said she looks great!  Our next step is with the attorney and counselor and we are set for the Oct. cycle.  The RE is telling me that the success rate with a donor egg is up to 65%... I just about fell out of my seat.  For my IVF the success rate was below 20%.

    WOW!!!!  Now THAT is a great increase in odds!!!!!  How very exciting that your donor looks good & that you're looking at October!!!!  So happy for you!!!!

    Oh, I can imagine!  I got put on hold for our first IUI this cycle because of a cyst & am dying for my next cycle.  I hope that time will fly for you & it'll be here before you know it!

    That is very exciting news!  I think that's a better percentage of success than a healthy 22 year old with 28 day cycle.  That's got to be good.

    That is kind of what I thought... I just keeping thinking he was selling an IVF cycle.  I hope that I am successful but we will just have to wait and see.

    Great news..good luck! The months will fly by!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
