I didn't. I have been afraid of being disappointed if this LO is a girl, but I have actually found myself being even more excited to possibly give DD a sister.

Pet Peeve: He gets all motivated to get things done and tells me about all the stuff he's going to do, then he does about 10% of it and loses all motivation.
Something I love: He's very handy around the house and is able to fix things that we might normally have to pay someone else to do.

3. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you "grew up"? Did it happen? From the time I was 10 I wanted to work in museums....I did. (I even told my parents I wanted to work at the Smithsonian so I could touch Dorothy's ruby slippers...my office was right behind the display but I never got to touch them.
4. What are your top 3 memorable vacations? My honeymoon, a trip to Mardi Gras in New Orleans when I was too young, a trip to the Grand Canyon with my family - in a motorhome for over three weeks!
5. Be honest, did you experience gender disappointment at all? Yup. I was worried about having a boy because there is a history of congenital heart defects in boys in my family. So far so good and I couldn't imagine our family without Evan.
6. If you had an extra $500 and it had to be spent on yourself by the end of the day, what would you buy with it? No saving! Brown distressed riding boots, a sweater from anthropologie and new trouser jeans.
7. Last movie you saw in the theater? What about at home? Can't remember what movie I saw at the theater...sad. Last movie we saw at home was Hall Pass.

4. What are your top 3 memorable vacations? 1 - Honeymoon in Antigua, 2 - Weekend we took a whirlwind tour to Connecticut and back, by way of the Finger Lakes, and then spent a few days with friends at their cottage on Lake Erie, 3 - Lake Champlain with family in HS
5. Be honest, did you experience gender disappointment at all? No, but I seriously couldn't have been more surprised. I truly thought she was a boy the whole time.
6. If you had an extra $500 and it had to be spent on yourself by the end of the day, what would you buy with it? No saving! I want to make a new wrap, so I would buy the material for that, and then some clothes and shoes that make me feel cute rather than like "Frump Girl"
7. Last movie you saw in the theater? What about at home? At a theater, "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasis" at home, "17 Again"
8. Is there a baby name you love but won't use for some reason? I love a lot of names, but DH really loved Henry and I won't use it because the second we said it to my parents my dad said, "Like HANK?" and I hate the name Hank for no good reason. So now I don't like it anymore. And I love the name Cora, but I worked with a really horrible girl named Cora, so it sort of left a bad taste.
9. Are you competitive? Sometimes but not really.
10. Biggest pet peeve about your DH/DW (only 1!). Something you love about him/her. He is a mouth breather and hence the worlds loudest (and most disgusting) chew-er. In public he can reign it in, but if he is sitting on the couch and relaxing, it is like sitting next to a cow. Something I love - he is an amazing father and treats both "his girls" (me and C) so good!

2. How much did your LO weigh at birth? Justin 9lbs 11oz. The twins were 17lbs 13oz total- Brandon 7lbs 14oz and Natalie 9lbs 15oz.
3. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you "grew up"? Did it happen? I always said I wanted to be the 1st female president. HAH! Now I can't stand politics.
4. What are your top 3 memorable vacations? My honeymoon (Tahiti), or 1st cruise in 2007 and the 1st time we took J to Disney.
5. Be honest, did you experience gender disappointment at all? None. We were upfront that we both wished for a boy 1st. When I got 2nd bfp I couldn't decide which I hoped for more; a little brother for J or a daughter- then we got both!

I get anxious about EVERYTHING so I love how he can calm me down and relax me. On the other hand sometimes I think I could be burning on fire and he'd be like, "oh sweetie, don't worry so much, we'll be fine"

3. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you "grew up"? Did it happen? I wanted to be in the military and be a female fighter pilot. I remember this from when I was little and first went to the airforce base (in plattsburg) at the time. But I broke my hand at the end of my senior year which took over 18 months to heal, so my life took another path. I love my job now but I still wonder "what if?"
4. What are your top 3 memorable vacations? 1. Our trip to Hawaii in Nov. of 2003, 2. Our western 10 day Caribbean cruise, and 3. When I was in highschool I was did a "mini" exchange student program (3 weeks) where I lived with a Mexican family and learned the customs and traditions. Not a typical vacation but I had a great time.
5. Be honest, did you experience gender disappointment at all? Nope, not even an inkling. I was just so in aw of being pregnant at all and that I went to term, I just wanted the baby to be healthy.

10. Biggest pet peeve about your DH/DW (only 1!). Something you love about him/her. Pet Peeve: He can hold a grudge. He once was mad at my BIL for 2 years b/c of something that my BIL said. It was horrible, he wouldn't speak to him.
Something I love: That he's a hard worker, there isn't a single lazy bone in his body. He works very hard (usually over 70 hours a week) for his family. It isn't always great for us personally being apart so much, but it's allowing me to stay home all summer and I am so grateful for that.

3. When you were a kid what did you want to be when you "grew up"? Did it happen? - Mostly an actress.. so no.. it didn't happen. I did write a paper in elementary school where you had to pick 3 different things you'd want to be and I put a bartender for one of them, so I came close to that.

*disney for our honeymoon
*The roadtrip that DH and I took in 2007.. boston, NJ, Notre Dame, chicago.. all in like 4 days. awesome
*France in high school.. not really a vacay.. but it was a great experience
5. Be honest, did you experience gender disappointment at all? - When we first found out N was a girl I was a teensy bit disappointed but now that I have 2 girls i can't picture NOT having sisters.
