I was just searching for the link for this board from the local Bumpie page and was looking at all the different State/City boards.... Seattle has the 2nd most threads of all the local boards (Cincinnati was #1)
Thats pretty cool! and say what you want about the fb page, but this place was dying well before fb picked up... We havent seen the kind of action we're getting on the fb page, on this page for a couple years now!

This. It surprises me that people keep saying that the FB page killed off the board ... in the weeks leading up to people starting to post over there, there was a real scarcity of posts here. Even polls that normally would get a good 35-40 replies were getting like, 12. Summer, maybe, but I think between tech issues, mod issues, AEs, etc., people were feeling disenchanted.

I agree with this completely - I loved getting on the board when G was smaller and it was easier to type while she was nursing or sleeping on me (or when I was pregnant). Now I'm busy with her and A too since it's summer. The FB page just started emailing me when people started posting, so I'd see a post and respond immediately. TB hasn't emailed me a notification when people respond to threads I've post or posted in in a long long time. I don't know why- it's their issue not my settings. I didn't realize until I came here earlier this week that the board was becoming a ghost time. I think Facebook is just way easier. TB has too many issues and for me, it loads very slow. And now the smileys never work for me either so I have to do these
Re: Seattle Babies Board #2 most threads
That's cool!
And just wanted to say how cute your pics of Gracie are! Look at her being all big! Are you going to be at Bumps and Babies??
Yes- I was going to come to get one of your hats for a friend who's expecting!
Really? I was just thinking this place was dead!
I thought the same thing
