Dynky Doodle: AI2 or fitted?

I'm planning on giving one as a baby shower gift to a friend.  I have only AI2, but am wondering if a fitted would be better for a newborn.  TIA for any thoughts.

I would probably do an AI2 for a gift unless you know she plans on using fitteds. This way, she won't need to worry about covers and such (and fitteds tend to be something not everyone gets into, but most will understand the concept of an AI2).

I agree with Jenny, also because dynky ai2s have such an awesome reputation whereas other newborn Ai2s (which are hard to find) might not have the same following/quality.
