Another question: would this help stimulate already happening contractions into "real" contractions? I've been having mild contractions since yesterday (not the first time this has happened) and it's getting so frustrating. Would drinking this kind of kick them in the butt so get stronger/turn into real labor?
I'm torn on what I think about inducing labor naturally, especially before my due date. These constant contractions are just killing me though...
I drank a pregnancy tea that had rasberry leaf in it, and I had the worst BH for the rest of the afternoon/evening. My midwife thinks it was the rasberry leaf in the tea. She said its fine- I can keep drinking it - I have to decide if I want BH or not.

I dont think it actually "starts" labor. I know a lot of girls drink it thru-out their entire pregnancy to "tone" the uterus.
I have had a cup a day since 12 weeks.
I drink it my entire pregnancy, it only tones the uterus. It does not bring on labor.
Traditional Medicinals at Whole Foods sells the best tasting Red Rasp Leaf Tea.
Try the Red Raspberry Green Tea from www.shop.lightofdayorganics.com it is the best and I drank it ALL the time before I became pregnant!!
It is awesome!
I'm choosing - not.
