Ugh, I hate when someone knows you but you don't know them

Someone added me to facebook. Usually I don't accept most people these days, but I was in a fog and sent accept. She knew what was going on with dad and has been so sweet to me, sending messages, etc. I have no idea WTF she is and I don't have the heart to ask her. She either knows my mom and dad or my in-laws or me...but she hasn't asked to visit. IDK. It's a little awkward and now I'm way past the point of asking who they are.

BTW, there's a nestie I'm also friends with that I don't know who they are.  I've been friends with them a few years. We even comment on each others statuses. LOL.

I'd totally have your DH ask her how he knows her before he accepts. He can pretend he's clueless that you're also her friend, and you'll find out who she is.

I'd have your DH send a message back saying "I totally apologize, but I don't recognize your name, can you remind me how we're acquainted?" and when she responds you'll both know who she is!
