I need an honest opinion

Husband likes the name Amber and I do too, but our last name is Lambert.  I am wondering if anyone else thinks Amber Lambert is too much the same. Or does it work?  I am not sure I am sold, but I know hubby likes it.

It is okay. Doesn't flow great, but isn't awful either.  Amber isn't my style, so I don't have a strong opinion.

I'm totally on board with Amber, but it doesn't sound good with Lambert.  Maybe as a middle name?  Or a hyphenated name like Amber-leigh, Amber-lynn? might break it up better.

In my honest opinion, I really do like the name Amber but "amber" will also be part of her last name.  Because of that, I personally wouldn't use it.

Honestly, the name Amber is dated and Amber Lambert is just silly.

I agree with PP, it's too rhyme-y.  There are just some names that are fine, but don't work with certain last names.  For me, our last name starts with Car, so I've eliminated all Car names (Carmen, Carlo, etc.) because it's just too much.

That is my best friends name! Well, it was until she got married. I love it, however, she hated it. Especially with her middle name being lee, she felt it was way too rhymey.

(Sidenote: My husband sometimes jokes that we should name a future daughter Amber. Amber + our last name sounds like a kind of beer. >< )
