Breakthrough or implantation bleeding?

Hi Ladies!  I'm pretty new to these boards, so I apologize if this has already been covered.

DH and I have been married for (almost) 2 years now.  We're not trying yet, but planning to in probably a year or so.  I'm still on yasmin and have been so for 8ish years now.  My periods have been extremely regular for the entire time I've been on the pill.  About 95% of the time, I get AF on the Wednesday afternoon of the placebo week (I'm a Sunday starter)

My question is, this month, I accidentally missed a few of my pills.  I missed days 13-16.  On day 15 we had sex (no condom... we never do, but then again, I almost never miss my pills).  This morning (day 17) I started some light bleeding.  I would consider it a little more than spotting, but not enough to warrant a tampon or even panty liner.  It's just so strange because I'm not expecting my period until a week from tomorrow.

Do you ladies think it could be implantation bleeding?  Or is it just a withdrawal from the hormones causing break through bleeding?   TIA ladies!  I really appreciate any feedback!

I doubt it was implantation bleeding since you had sex two days ago.  It's more than likely from missing a few days of pills.  Like PP said, you won't know for sure until the end of your cycle.
