Meeting the Birth Mother

Wow! What a whirlwind these past couple of weeks have been. On July 28th, a birthmother contacted DH and I, and yesterday, we met her for lunch. Initially, the conversation was a bit awkward but I think it was this way because all three of us were nervous. As lunch progressed, conversation began to flow more smoothly. We spent about two hours with her and we really like her. Birthmom is choosing between us and another couple. Oh, I have so many butterflies in my stomach! Fingers and toes crossed we get chosen!

That's WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!   After meeting our daughters BM....We too were nervous... it was a Bit Awkward but things are going very smothly for us now.  I know that I just have to have FAITH that everything will work out just the way it is Susposed to.
