what to do about going #2

My DS has been potty training since May when he turned 3 and has done fabulously.  He is in underwear except bedtime at night.  But this week he has been going back to his old routine of going off by himself and pooping in his underwear.  When I ask him why he just shrugs his shoulder.  I also know that he's holding it in all day b/c he is not pooping at daycare at all, then waits til he gets home to do it.  I know he knows when he has to go but now he doesn't want to go on the potty to poop, ugh!!!  I'm looking for some suggestions.  Thanks!!!

What if you tried putting the potty chair in a corner where he would have some privacy?  I'm working on this with DS as well.  It's like he's scared or embarrassed and will hold it just like your DS.  He knows when he has to go because he brings me a diaper, lol!
