Need gift ideas for #2's first birthday

Nothing expensive since he doesn't care. Problem is, I feel like my 2.5 year old (girl) will want anything we get him? Right now I'm thinking Mega Bloks table and a glow worm. DD has a glow worm so she wouldn't take his. But she'd love that table! She's also into bulldozers (rowbozers), cranes (Snorts) and trucks lately b/c of Are You My Mother. We even busted out a 2010 Xmas gift for DS that was unopened and in the garage b/c I knew she'd like the dump truck...

I want to get DD something small too but I don't want her to think she gets a gift every time DS has a birthday. Or is that just how it's gotta be from now on?

    Honestly I would not start getting one child a gifto n the other's b-day. Let your children each have their own special day, and learn to celebrate for others, not just for themselves. I'm getting my second baby the book "If I Could Keep You Little," winter pajamas, a push toy to learn to walk (we didn't have one for DD1), and a toy and an outfit.
