We have all hardwood floors besides the area rug in our living room, dinning room and DS's room. When my DS was very small, we obviously put a blanket down on the floor for tummy time, but now that he is rolling all over the place, it seems impossible to keep him on one! He is rolling onto the carpet and hardwood floors because he is on the move! I keep my house clean, and my carpet and floors...but it just seems weird to let him roll around on the floor without a blanket!! Anyone else feel this way? Do you ladies still put a blanket down? Am I just being kind of a germ-a-phobe?
Re: playing on the carpet or a blanket?
We can't put a blanket down anymore because L just rolls himself up in it if we do.
Love it!
I gave up on blankets a while ago, she'll just get off it and try go for anything that isn't on the blanket. I say let them run free!
Thanks Ladies! I just needed some confirmation!
My DS also rolls up in the blanket! He LOVES peak a boo so much that he'll put any blanket over his face and just wait for us to say, "Where's baby?" haha. The blanket has become a hazard!
