Anyone still doing well?

I am NOT :( Last week I didn't do a single workout, or eat healthy, drink water. I stepped on the scale yesterday and almost cried!!! ugh.

Yesterday I was pretty good, and I'm headed to Wegmans now to stock up on some healthy snack, fruits, veggies etc. Although it will take some will power to not pick up a sub for lunch (I've been craving one lately!) 

I just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I swear I look 4 months pregnant Crying I carry my weight in my middle... so when I drop a few pounds I feel skinny... but when I gain a few, I feel bloated and gross! 

My 2 goals for this week are to drink WATER and hit the GYM at least 3 times (one down, two to go!)

  • I gained six pounds in a weekend-SIX!!! I think some of it was water weight, as I am down three pounds today. Also, after I saw the scale I hit the tredmill hard yesterday and made myself do 5 miles. I sweat about a gallon of water! I am back on track eating wise and am hoping to lose about five pounds by next week, when I start orientation for my new job. I need to fit into my old work clothes!
  • Good God - I am doing so bad that I totally forgot about this....haha!!!

    I have just totally lost it since my's like I don't have anything to motivate me to lose even more. No vacations or anything like that. I was doing so well with exercising...and now I'm just so tired and feel like I don't have any time! I need to start MAKING time like I did before..

  • My brother was in town with his family last week, and we're finishing up our vacation week, so I haven't really paid attention to what I've been eating for a while. Only went up a lb, so I guess that's not too bad. Have to kick it into high gear when I get home because we'll be going to a wedding in 3 weeks, and I'd really like to be in a new size by then.
  • I'm a fat mess. All 3 of my kids have had colds. The twins also had a little stomach bug (I think teething related) and Nat had pink eye.Then I was so emotional about B's helmet appt. I haven't had the time or patience to really focus on me. I was doing so great last week too.

    I gotta get back on track. My muffin top is raging.

  • I'm right there with you. After eating mac and cheese for lunch:( I'm actually glad you posted this. It's kind of givin me a little kick in the behind to get back on track! I haven't weighed myself this week but I know I've gained. Come on, my cousin brought me fudge, I couldn't resist. Since that's like 1000 calories a bite, my guess is that I'm up at least 2-3 lbs.

    That being said, any good websites that you know of that has good, healthy kid friendly meals? I'm struggling making dinners that the kids (4 nights a week I have my nephews) and we will enjoy that are healthy.

    TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

  • I haven't really lost more, but haven't gained it either.  I look awful so when I finally got on the scale I was surprised.  I don't know if I am about to get AF or what, but I am so bloated and crabby.  Blah.  If I stick to my 1 serving of cereal for breakfast and a salad with protein and veggies for lunch and then whatever in moderation for dinner (plus a snack after), I am good, but I do lose it when I am tired and I am SO TIRED.  Kids are wearing me out and wearing me down!
