Amazon diaper prices increased

I got an e-mail about a month ago saying that the price of Pampers were going up to almost $50/box!  That was a $15 increase and I was shocked.  We've made the permanent switch to Target diapers now.  Did this happen to anyone else?

The boxes got bigger too and with subscribe and save they're still only around $30. The price per diaper did go up a little but not that much. The baby dry I was looking at last night were only 16 cents per diaper.

Yeah, price per dipe still cheapest around....even the Target deal this week isn't a deal. I can't like the Target diapers, I tried to switch and had to force myself to use the whole box.

Hmmmmm, aparentally I have no idea what's going on.  Can I blame pregnancy brain?  Oh well, the Target ones are still a little cheaper and I already cancelled my Amazon order.  No biggie.

FYI- if you like the Target diapers, you should try the Wegmans brand (I do like the Target a little better.) BUT- Wegmans has a Summer Savings flyer (they are usually near the health and beauty department) and there is a coupon for $8 off a box of diapers. They are on sale right now (have been for a while) for $12.99, so $5 for a box! I've been buying them for Evan every time I go to Wegmans, and so has my mom. I have 8 boxes in the basement... I think by the time it's over I'll have more than enough to last until he's potty trained!

Totally agree! We have a good stash of Wegmans dipes going too. Natalie is a heavy pee-er and they've been holding up great!

I think I am going to do this.. I am trying to potty train Eve and I really don't want to spend another $30 on a huge case of diapers for her.. but I think I am going to run out of diapers before i am successful. (because for instance, today, I planned to work on PTing but she woke up with a nasty case of diarrhea.. NOT happening!!). Do you know how long this deal goes?

oh and I liked wegmans diapers a lot when we got samples of them.. They're  not QUITE pampers.. but they held the pee good.  They'll be fine for Eve til she's PTed.

Off to wegmans today.

I think the Wegmans coupons are good until early September.  It's a great deal, we only used Wegmans diapers when Rosie was older, they worked great.

the coupon expires 9/24. Not sure how long the sale is on... but I think the regular price is only $13.99, so still a good deal

size 5 box comes w/ 56 (for the supreme) they also have a "ultra" which aren't as good, and come w/ more per box... but they aren't on sale.

Thanks for the info ladies!  We're at Wegmans at least twice/week so I'll have to try them out.
