Looks like I will be a single parent in March.  Not because of divorce but because I am not with my LO's father, nor do I wish to be.  In fact, I haven't even told him yet. not sure what the best way is to approach this.  Two outt of three family members that know say maybe I shouldn't even tell him til after it's born...  I don't agree.  Plus, I really don't want to do this alone...

Unless the other half is an absolute looney toon, or poses a threat to you and your LO in someway, it really is unfair to keep him in the dark about becoming a father.  I don't know the backstory, so I'm commenting without really knowing.  But it's really not cool to do that if a relationship with him is not harmful in some way.  If you tell him and he shrugs his shoulders, well then that's on him, you've done your part.
