When did the baby come???

I was 37 weeks 6 days, I believe.

My water broke on its own when I was 37w2d and I was far from active. I did laugh my little heart out at the movies the night before I went not labor.

Dd1 came 6 days early. Dd2 came a day late. Only 9oz difference between the two.

I was doing a swim class and walking everyday until LO came.  I actually had a GNO Dinner with all my friends the night I went to the Hospital.  I was 39wks 5 days.  LO was only 2 days early   Come to find out the tightening of my belly all week leading up to it were actually contractions and I had no clue since I was a FTM...I just thought she was kicking/pushing on my belly.  Everyone kept saying "when you have a 'real' contraction you will know it", well I never had any real painful contractions, they were just a little uncomfortable.  I was lucky I guess for my first time!

BH contrax started at 24 wks, cramping started at 36 wks, 50% effaced/1 cm at 36 wks, 50%/1.5 cm at 37 wks, went into labor at 38 wk 1 d at 80%/1.5 cm. I ran/swam/lifted weights my entire pregnancy...I did the elliptical and lifted weights the day before I went into labor. My only goal was to finish my final exams before having the baby....I started having contractions at 4:30am, went to school for a half day to finish giving exams to the absent kids (the majority of the exams were given the previous school day), graded those exams, and headed to the hospital!
