Cramps

Hi I am six weeks along and I am having severe cramps, like period cramps, but they come and go.  Is that normal??  I had a cone biopsy last year to remove cervical dysplasia and I am freaking out that it is causing issues.

I'm not sure about you medical issues having any impact, but yes, I dd have period like cramps from about 5 weeks-7 weeks. They would come and go throughout the day and they were, for me at least, what I would call stronger than my normal period cramps.

I too have had period like cramps this pregnancy. My doctor advised that it is completely normal and to not worry unless you have bleeding as well. It is common to experience cramping throughout pregnancy. If you experience bleeding or it is so severe that you cannot handle it, call your doctor. Otherwise, I'd say you are fine. H&H 9 months to you!!!
