Hello! I am contemplating having a gender elective ultrasound done early before the 20 week anatomy scan. I am having a hard time waiting! There is a facility in my area that does this for $25 for 10 minute gender determination. You can pay $5 for a video too. They got good reviews on yelp. What do you ladies think? Have you ever done this or heard of doing this before? What week do they usually do it? Thanks!
Re: Contemplating early u/s
Wow that sounds pretty cheap....I would say why not go for it then?? And then if there's any question about it, you still have your 20 week scan to double confirm it. Good luck!
That's really cheap! I am going on vacation to see family at 18w and was wondering if I could bump up my a/s. I decided not to, because I want the sacan to be accurate (they probably wouldn't even do it) but if I can find an elective for $25 bucks, heck yes!

I thought I was getting a good deal. I'm getting it at 16 wks. For $85 I'm getting 10-15 minute session, gender determination, 2 color prints, a CD of pics and $25 off any additional sessions.
For $25 I'd be all over it!

Costa Mesa (Orange County) -- https://www.ultrasoundme.com/ - $25 for a 2D 10 minute session - I got 8 printouts included for that price.
(Their website is kind of cheesy, but the location was actually very clean and nice.)
I know!! And she felt really confident that it's a girl, and I could see exactly what she was saying on the screen. I recommend you go ahead and get the DVD - we didn't and that's why DH wants to go back in two weeks!
