LO is going to be 4 weeks on Wednesday. He has been sleeping, what I think, great stretches (about 5-6 hours per night). He is a huge eater so he eats about 3-4 oz about 1.5-2 hours a part. He is a light sleeper during the day and his long stretch is usually around 9-10 and wakes around 2-3 am.
Last night I put him down around 9. He woke up around 11:30, then again at 2, again at 4 and had a screaming fit at 4. I fed him each waking, changed him, walked him, rocked him everything. H finally took him for a car ride until he crashed.
He hasn't woken like this since we first brought him home. Could this be a growth spurt? Did anyone have a similar experience? I'm beat ![]()
Re: HELP! Is this a growth spurt?
Mine will be 4 weeks on Wed. and we just went through the same thing last night.
LO usually goes down about 9:30-10 and sleeps until 2ish and up at 5 for the day. So a good sleeper. Usually eats every 2 hours about 2 oz.
These past 2 days she eats every hourish and at nigh cluster feeds like crazy. Last night she took up screaming and waking up every hour practically inconsolable. This morning wasn't much better.
I put some gas drops in her one bottle because I figured she'd had a stomach ache from all the cluster feeding. It helped a little. Now she just ate had a screaming fit and basically cried herself to sleep while I rocked her.
