BFing/supplementing w/ formula ? Spitting up

I have been breastfeeding and supplementing with formula (Enfamil Newborn).  My daughter started very frequently spitting up large amounts after eating.  If you are supplementing with formula, which formula are you using?  Any feedback on the Enfamil AR or Similac Sensitive?  Thanks!!

If she's spitting up a lot she may be overfed. Did you try giving her less or cutting off her eating after a few ML? I was BFing and supplementing with that same formula and had no problems with it. It's the formula that the hospital uses.

I supplemented briefly when my daughter was born, and she spit up whatever formula we gave her. The pediatrician said that this is probably common if you're going back and forth between BM and formula. She suggested we give it a week or two and see if she continued to spit up; or try a different brand.

We started out with Similac Advance but noticed it made LO gassy.  The Pedi recommended and gave samples of Enfamil Gentel Ease and Similac Sensitive.

LO spit up the Enfamil every feeding.  We switched to the Similac Sensitive and she doesnt spit up at all.  Try something different and see if it helps.

Are you burping her frequently?  My DS has reflux and is considered a happy spitter.  If I don't burp him after every few minutes while BFing or after every half ounce with a bottle, he will spit up a ton. 

FWIW, I BF and supplement with Similac Soy right now.  We've only started supplementing with formula for a week and the only difference I've noticed is that he seems constipated.  I'm thinking of switching to something else to see if it helps my LO move things along better.
