I know your question was like 10 days ago, but we have actually worked with Dr. Anthony Chang, and he was really great. He even personally called me at home with my daughter's results. The office he uses is at choc (across from the main hospital) and its really kid friendly, with kid movies, etc. We had a really good experience when my daughter was born with a heart murmur, and they really helped ease our worries. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response. Would you mind me asking at what point you/your doctor decided to investigate the murmur? I am being told my sons is innocent and I don't want to go over board but I have had some personal experience with multiple doctors not acting on symptoms...feel free to pm me if you're more comfortable and if you are not comfortable sharing I understand and I really appreciate the initial response.
My daughter was born with amniotic fluid in her lungs and was sent to NICU immediately following her birth at St. Judes Fullerton. She stayed in the NICU for 3 days and received thorough exams while there, including cardiology. A cardiologist from CHOC examined her and referred us to Dr Chang at CHOC. Our pediatrition is Dr Isterbadi and she agreed with the referral. The murmur was examined thoroughly at CHOC (she was maybe 2 months old at the time of exam) and we were told to return in one year so they could see if the small hole casing the murmur would close on its own. At 1 year old we returned and the hole had closed and she was discharged. It was a little nerve racking, but all in all they really eased our nerves and explained everything to us along the way. I wouldnt worry too much about it, but of course get it checked out just to ease your worries. More often than not, the murmurs are innocent. But as parents, we tend to come up with a bunch of what if scenarios, and for ease of mind, a check up wouldnt hurt.
