The Nautilus would work as a harness to booster seat, but this seat tends to cause head-slump for sleeping kids. It's not unsafe, just annoying- mostly for parents
Other options are the Britax Frontier85, the Recaro ProSport and the Evenflo Maestro.
I prefer the ProSport myself of the 3 options, and it tends to have the best booster fit (you probably wont need it in booster mode until age 5+).
My 6 yo recently switched from the Graco Nautilus to the Sunshine Kid's Montery booster. Love this seat. He sleeps comfortably without slouching. The head wings are deep enough for him to rest his head and it is very plush.

I don't think the Nautilus is a good option if you think she'll be sleeping a lot. My kids' heads nearly always fall/fell forward.
Knowing what I know now......I'd buy the Maestro with plans to get a SK Monterey (booster only).
