Eye-la. I love this name and have been trying to convince DH for awhile. I guess pronunciation is one worry since on paper people may be confused at first.
I had a student this past year who was named Isla (pronounced Eye-la). Just one thing to consider...her last name started with P and on all of our school tech log-in info, she was islap11 (I really don't remember what the last 2 numbers were, but you get the idea). Anyway, from that she got the nickname "i-slap"...she had a good sense of humor about it and other students sort of laughed it off and forgot about it, but it might be something to consider if your last name starts with P.
Re: Pronounciation of..
I've heard both Eye-la and Ees-la, so I guess both are acceptable. I've heard Eye-la more often, though, probably because of Isla Fisher.

This. It means "island," which makes the pronunciation easy to remember.
I love the name Isla.

Agree. Plus I keep thinking it's someone who mis-typed up Ilsa.
