Zofran and Macrobid

Ok im 16 weeks and im still having issues with nausea and vomiting so Ive been taking Zofran everyday when I wake up. It works for the most part and I was feeling great untilllllllll...Macrobid!!!! I have a UTI so the doctor put me on Macrobid and honestly everything was kosher till I started the UTI meds. Now its like Zofran isnt working because when I take it I still end up with nausea and vomiting. Thank the Lord my appt is Monday. Im busting eye capillaries left and right because of all this vomiting!!! Im thinking macrobid may decrease the effectiveness of my Zofran :-(. Has anyone had this happen before?

Wow that really really sucks... but no I can't say it has happened to me, my nausea has been pretty much over since week 14. Sounds like you might be right though. Maybe Macrobid can cause nausea?

I get UTI's all the time. Any meds that they give me for them make me super sick unless I eat a bunch before taking them. Are you eating enough?

I am still taking zofran for MS at almost 24 wks...anywho....I had a uti last week and took Macrobid also. It didn't make me any sicker if I ate food before I took it. Do not take antibiotics on an empty belly.

I think that may be the cause of my nausea, im not eating enough with the meds because for the past few days my appetite has been terrible and ive been half eating so im pretty sure that is the issue.
