New to The Bump

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself because I'm new.  My name is Christen and I'm 8 weeks pregnant.  The pregnancy is a BIG surprise for me and my boyfriend, but although we are still terrified, we're starting to get really excited, too. 

We're telling my parents about the baby tomorrow.  I'm almost 30 and have always been hesitant about wanting kids.  However, my parents have been wanting grandbabies for years now, so I think they're going to be very excited!  I know I'm excited to tell them.

I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next several months!

Congrats! I think even those who are TTC are terrified once they find out they are expecting! Good luck telling your parents and in this exciting time!

Hi! Congratulations and best of luck with telling your families! I'm still in shock (but excited) about actually being pregnant! Guess reality will kick in soon!
