Still 1cm, still not effaced. The doctor would have stripped my membranes for me, but she couldn't reach 'em. I go in for Cervidil Monday night, and the induction on Tuesday. I still hope I go before then, but I am resigned.
If I go before then, I get the doctor I had today. Nice enough, but I don't know her, so she's sort of an unknown. If I go in for the induction, I get my regular doctor, who I love. SO, it's a mixed bag.
That would be sooo awesome. I'm just going to try to relax about it, though. I've done my best, I've been absurdly healthy through this whole thing (I don't even waddle! I'm not swollen! I can get my sneakers on, tied and off without suffering!) so I just have to trust that it'll all end well.
You are such a freakin' inspiration, especially considering what time of year it is. I hated being pregnant in the middle of summer. People would politely ask me where the baby was after my due date and I'd snarl at them before waddling away on unevenly swollen legs.
But I am really, really hoping something starts happening for you soon.
Re: Amy!

Just saw the PG + 35 post.
I get wanting your regular OB, but if you go as fast as you did with M will it even matter? Like, go into labor now, have baby by tea time
