people who don't put their shopping carts away (yeah, sevenonesix, I said it!)

when you help someone to do something a certain way and they don't listen and screw it up - this happens at work all. the. time. like why did I just waste the past 5 minutes explaining that to you?
People who think they are so important they don't have to wait to let others off the el/bus/elevator before they go running on. If you move your @ss I can get out and there will be room for you!
Also, button pushers. If the elevator button has been pressed once it doesn't come any faster if you push it again!

Tourists who walk 12 abreast on the sidewalk so you either can't get by them or have to stand to the side while they pass if you are walking in the other direction
Failure to use a turn signal
Taxi cab drivers
Tourists on the Metro
Tourists in DC in general, I don't know what rock in Idaho they come out from under to come visit here, but I wish they would go back.
And those are just my DC area pet peeves of the moment. I could go on for hours about other pet peeves. I would be better living as a hermit because people piss me off so much!
Right now it's when people say how education needs overhauling, bad teachers, not enough money, blah, blah, blah.
But no one wants to hold parents accountable for what their children learn.
This is a pet peeve of mine and I don't even work in education. Seriously, if you're teaching, what, a couple dozen kids, there's only so much you can do if the parents who have far fewer kids (well, unless they're the Duggers) don't give a crap. I feel for all you teachers and I certainly don't envy you your jobs! Kudos to you all!

Lil man~5.20.2011~born big and healthy @ 39w (after one he!! of a pregnancy)~8lbs 1oz
people who don't use their turn signals. men who are alone that park in the pregnant and toddler spots. people who don't put their carts away. people b!tching about a software not working but not telling IT about it.
When DH doesn't fill up the car with gas, leaves it for me to drive the next day, and doesn't warn me ahead of time that the car's on empty.
People who say "We should get together!" and never follow through.
People who don't have kids telling me what I should be doing with mine.
People who walk across my lawn/driveway, see that I'm trying to park, and walk slower while shooting me dirty looks for having the audacity to park in my own driveway.
When you're expecting a package and wait all day for it, only to finally decide to venture out and see a sticker on your door saying the delivery man missed you. WTF, I was home waiting for your @ss all day! And then you have to go down to the office to pick up your package and deal with THAT PITA.
When I'm in my kitchen and someone comes in. I like to be alone in there and do what I need to do. Drives me nuts!
Drivers who spend more time looking out their side windows than their front window.
People who are mean to others. Unkindness is ugly.
DH's Family . .. everything about them
People who speak too softly to hear (I used to be this way ~ I'm much louder now)
Going to Starbucks and getting in line behind the person who is ordering 12 drinks for their co-workers.
DH acting like he does more than I do. Um, hello? I work full time AND have 4 kids too!
Specifially to Co-Workers (really lame pet peeves, but they are there): 1 - one lady ALWAYS taps her cup as she walks to the coffee pot (which is near my desk) 2 - another lady always pulls her food out of microwave before it's finished so it always has a few seconds showing on there. I never see it at first and wonder why nothing is working when I try to put my time in. I have to reset. See. . . totally lame, but annoying
People who think they are so important they don't have to wait to let others off the el/bus/elevator before they go running on. If you move your @ss I can get out and there will be room for you!
Also, button pushers. If the elevator button has been pressed once it doesn't come any faster if you push it again!
ALL of this and add people who don't hold the elevator when they see me coming and people who push all the buttons in a elevator because they can't remember which floor they parked on. I should have an office on the ground level because I deal with this every single day.

People who are chronically late.
Parents that let their kids run around in a restaurant and crawl under the tables.
People who park in the "Parent with Child" parking spots and don't have any evidence of even having children.
People that slam their car doors into the side of my car and leave a nice indentation in my door.
I could go on and on. I think I may be a bit of a b!tch.
People who think they are so important they don't have to wait to let others off the el/bus/elevator before they go running on. If you move your @ss I can get out and there will be room for you!

True story
I do this....but I think I'm just reaffirming with myself that that is the floor I need to exit on.
People who don't change the toilet paper roll. Everyone at my work is freaking lazy
People who don't stand to the right on escalators
Tourists who walk 12 abreast on the sidewalk so you either can't get by them or have to stand to the side while they pass if you are walking in the other direction

People who don't send thank you notes
People who leave the empty water cooler bottle on the cooler
Not wiping the toilet seat if you pee all over it
Stores that perpetually are out of the sale items even on the first day of the sale
The inability of drivers to understand the meaning of a "Yield" sign
Text talk. How hard is it to write "you" instead of "u"?

Remove DC and put in Chicago. OMG. its Lollapalooza weekend and I want to push people out of my way.

When the cashier hands you your change on top of the bills and reciept.
Baggers that put all the heavy stuff in one bag and two things in another
People that slop water all over the bathroom sink and don't clean it up.
When a fast food restaurant just throws the burger together ketchup all on the right, cheese is not centered, onions in a big pile in the middle.
People that stand in the bathroom at work to conduct a 30 minute conversation. I have things to do in there that I don't want an audience for!
People who don't curtesy wave.
Wrinkly clothing.
Socks with sandals.
