    They both look like misspelled variations of Hiram and Jacoba.

    Hiram is a name. Hyrum is lame... then again, it would be transliterated Hebrew, so I guess it's better than most "uniquely" spelled names.

    My husband's great grandma was Jacobia. I kinda like it.
