Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Does anyone use a potty/chore/reward chart?

I saw this on onestepahead.com - https://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=534909&cmSource=CrossSell&relatedProductId=314767.

Does anyone use something like this?  Did you make your own?  If so, what do you use?  Does it work with your child?  DD is only 18 months, but I think she would get the concept before much longer.

I thought this One Step Ahead one was really cute...

  • If you google free potty reward chart, you will get lots of options without spending anything.

I used a generic pirate one from Super Nanny because he was into pirates.

  • We are slowly starting and I've been thinking of making a sticker chart of some sort. But I also cheer for DS if he sits on it and doesn't go at all because I don't want him to think he's bad for not going.

  • I let my son pick out stickers at the store, and then when he used the potty, he got a sticker.  He would much rather wear a sticker than put it on a chart.  I also used m&m's, and with 1 for pee 2 for poop, he was potty trained in just about three days.  He was a little older though.  He turned 2 in May, and he was trained in July.
