Calico Critters?

Anyone's LO into these?  I've been thinking about getting DD a dollhouse for Christmas, but while browsing at TRU today I came upon these.  They look absolutely adorable, and I think DD would love them.  Anyone else have any of these?  What do you have, and does your LO enjoy them?

I don't have one, but they are really cute!  My friends have the house with the redish roof for their daughter...the accessories can have really small parts, (they've said)...

 My DD got the FP "My first dollhouse" and the additional accessories for Christmas, (she was 1yr 6mos) and she plays with it all the time...I probably won't upgrade to a better dollhouse until she asks me for one...I know alot of people love the big FP dollhouse, but it's the same concept as Calico, you can keep adding to it.

We don't have any, but I want to buy DD some when she's older.  They totally remind me of the ones I played with when I was a kid, Maple Town.

my DD adores them, we have two stores in our area that have a Calico Critter house setup for the kids to play with.  that's how we discovered she loves them.  Otherwise I would never spend so much money on that kind of stuff - it is expensive!!  even now we use a different dollhouse from my childhood and just have 2 calico critter sets of animals. 

one set is the Dentist kit, trying to prep her for going to her first dentist appt at 3 yrs old, and yes the pieces are TINY.  she loves that, she has an obsession with tiny things, so it works for us, lol.  (DD has never put toys into her mouth even as an infant, and she's supervised, but just FYI. not every kit has tiny pieces).

these rarely go on sale... sadly!  and are even hard to find used at yard sales etc...
