Progesterone Question

Had my first IUI two weeks ago and go for my blood test tomorrow.  I was put on progesterone after the blood test which showed my levels were low after IUI.  Feeling like the IUI wasn't successful, and wanting be prepared for that news that will be a phone call when I am at work, I took a first response today which was negative.  Would the progesterone make a difference with this?

Is the question whether progesterone would impact the results of the pregnancy test?  Unfortunately, it would not.  The progesterone can definitely delay AF for you, and did for me during every IUI cycle.  Fingers crossed you get a nice surprise tomorrow!

Thanks, that was the question.  I think the progesterone is affecting my ability to write clearly along with looking like a raging 15 year old.

Oh, it will have that effect on you! But, unfortunately, it won't result in a false negative. Sorry!!

I am on progesterone oil injections after my ET.  I was concerned when I had to up my dose after my one week blood test.  The doctor told me it was not a gray cloud of doom, and that it is normal and I should not be worried that the embryo wont take just because my progesterone was a little low.  I figure if they thought it was a bust then they wouldn't make me keep getting those awful shots in the butt! 

But I have tons of acne which is not normal for me and I feel like my boobs grew overnight and I think that is a reaction to the oil.  Also I am having tons of heartburn.

Well, the negative was really a negative.  Got AF this morning before going to get the blood test this morning.

Round 2 starts Sunday.

Mrs.Adam, I woke up in the middle of the night because my boobs felt like I silicone.  They were huge and weird feeling.  I have also been getting a little "relaxed" (husband says buzzed) about an hour after taking the meds, so I had to delay morning dosage until I got to work.  Also have the acne.  I keep reminding myself it is all worth it if it works!
