Hormone crash associated with weaning

Anyone going through this?  I ended up EP when LO decided he liked bottles much more.  Now that he's on his way to 6 months, I feel the need to remove myself from the pump.  Weaning is going slowly but comfortably - curious if anyone else has found hormone "crashes".  After a week of being quieter than usual - and moody, I think I realized this is the issue.

I'm about to stop too. I keep saying I'm stopping, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. I've cut down to 2 nursing sessions a day and 1 pumping session. I have been feeling more emotional, now that you mention it. Not sure what about exactly, just feel emotional.

There is definitely a little crazy that emerges when you wean. At least it happened both times for me.  (Weaned DS at 6 months, was in bad shape again after having my PPD under control for sometime at that point.) With DD, I weaned a few weeks ago and just finally feel back to normal.
