Although I've never been lucky enough to be 7 wks along, lurking on first trimester has led me to the presumption that it's perfectly normal to have some cramping. You just want to be sure to call your doctor if you experience any bleeding (red bleeding that is - pink and brown spotting is normal) or period-like cramps.
Check out the first trimester or months boards. There are lots of other ladies who have experienced the same thing.
H&H 9 months to you!
TTC 12/2009 Me: 32 - Stage II Endo / DH: 36 - Low count and morphology (1%) IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins! E & C Born 10/19/2012
Absolutely! I had this same worry when I was about 7 weeks. Cramping could be due to the baby implanting deeper in your uterine wall or a number of things. I got crampy because I hadn't had enough water to drink. If it gets progressively worse, stays for more than a day consistantly or is accompanied by bleeding, make sure you give your doctor a call. I always say it's better to play it safe!
